Another Great Mountain Cafe! Ellijay’s Cantaberry Restaurant
You can usually find a crowd at the popular Cantaberry Restaurant located in the downtown area of Ellijay. Known for their awesome sandwiches and soups, Owners Case and Jessica Bruner stay busy for sure with locals and tourists alike!
The adorably decorated artsy type cafe is a friendly and quaint atmosphere with fabulous food. I have always found the service to be outstanding even on days when they are very busy. Case is the Chef that knows how to cook up some amazing soups! One of my favorites is the Tomato-basil soup that is incredible. I also had some of their chicken salad and can’t say if I remember ever having a better sandwich! Jessica was there both times I visited and is a very friendly face that wants to make sure her customers are happy and full when they leave.

Glamping? Glamorous Tent Camping!!! – Ellijay
Being in the North Georgia Mountains is so exciting and I get a thrill out of learning about all the unique places to stay, dine and visit. The Martyn House in Ellijay is no exception! The inspiration from artists like JoAnn and Rick that own this fine establishment is amazing! Who would have thought “Glamping”, also known as glamorous tent camping would be such a hit!
Located on 18 acres, The Martyn House was built in the mid 30′s. When Rick and JoAnn first saw this home they had a vision like none other I have heard. They quickly went to work rennovating!
