Cucina Rustica is located just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge right off of the Appalachian Highway. They are only open for Dinner Wednesday through Saturday, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Copperhead Lodge is a 40 acre resort community located in the North Georgia Mountains
…built by motorcycle enthusiasts for motorcycle enthusiasts. This resort features individual log-style park cabins, a rustic lodge, an outdoor pavilion/amphitheater and swimming pool plus various other amenities all situated in a beautiful mountain setting along a winding creek.
Copperhead Lodge has all paved roads with street lights, underground utilities and city water.
Our lodge overlooks the creek. It is the indoor gathering area for the resort and features: casual fine dining, overnight accommodations, several fireside gathering areas, a members only Club Room, fitness area, riding gear and apparel & sundries shop. If you are driving on the Appalachian Highway just south of Blue Ridge Georgia, you might want to take a sharp left in Cherry Log. There you will find a quaint little old building built around 1950. It was originally built as a country store and grist mill. It was purchased by the Holloway’s in 1967.
Pit cooked B-B-Q with Bud’s special sauce and homemade Brunswick stew cooked in an iron pot has made this unique place known far and wide. It has been said that the Pink Pig is to North Georgia, what the Varsity is to Atlanta. It is conveniently located to the many folks who come to the North Georgia Mountains looking to get away from it all if only for a weekend.
Ask any local person where to eat and they will give you directions to the Pink Pig. The fried chicken and homemade onion rings are almost as well-known as the garlic salad made with the “secret recipe.” All food is prepared to order so be prepared to wait for your fresh hamburger or steak to cook. Fresh cut “Bud’s Spuds” are cooked to order from “Real” potatoes.
The iced tea is rumored to be the best iced tea in the world according to the former Governor Zell Miller and radio talk show host Ludlow Porch.
Former President Jimmy Carter might surprise you with a handshake and his famous smile while visiting the Pink Pig.

Who Else Wants This Election To Be Over?
Early voting started today for the special election to determine if Liquor-by-the-Drink can be sold in Fannin County 
restaurants. Advanced voting will continue until Friday November the 2nd. According to The News Observer in Friday’s October 26th paper, there has been an increase of over 2000 voters bringing the total number of registered voters to 15,327. I wonder if those new voters are locals or part-timers? I think we all know the answer to that question!
Is Liquor-by-the-Drink the Future of Fannin County? Did Fannin County actually loose 30 Million Dollars to restaurants just down the road in Ellijay within Gilmer County? Did it result in a loss of $875,000 tax dollars for Fannin County?
